It's not fun coming back to the states. We miss the crashing ocean and the blowing winds. The swell was epic nearly non-stop for three weeks. Our family had the best time. No phones, tv. etc.. "We would all like to extend our gratitude to you for sharing your fantastic home with us. We enjoyed every minute of our time in Costa Rica, from sunning ourselves on the beach, to the bananas flambé at the hotel, to joking around with the guys perpetually hanging out at the general store on the corner. (The could not believe how much guaro y fresca we kept picking up). We loved (and made great use of) both hammocks and all the rocking chairs. Renan from the hotel was invaluable, and made us feel at ease right away. No fruit stand was safe from our greedy clutches...every morning I would cut up watermelon, cantelope, mango and the best pineapple I've ever had (and I have been to West Africa). After that start to our day, our list of must-do activities dwindled to
1. Sit on the porch
2. Swim/Surf in the ocean - at least 3 times a day and
3. Who's getting the Imperial tonight!
For the most part, we just hung around and did nothing, And it was fabulous
